Using this frequency band of electromagnetic waves can form narrower and more directional beams, improve the radar’s resolution of targets, and have strong ability to penetrate dust, smoke, and rain. The website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released the “Interim Regulations on Radio Management of Automotive Radar”, which specifies that the 76-79GHz frequency band is used for automotive radar. The main usage scenarios include adaptive cruise control, collision prevention, blind spot detection, lane change assistance, parking assistance, rear vehicle warning, pedestrian detection, etc.

The SY-Radar on-board millimeter wave radar measurement system is equipped with a high-precision multi-axis turntable, including pitch/azimuth axis, automatic insertion and extraction, and clamping/releasing devices. The pitch axis can adjust the attitude of the radar during the test process. The azimuth axis can measure the horizontal azimuth of the radar. Through the azimuth axis, the pitch axis and the angular displacement axis, the Test effort of multiple spatial angles and multiple orientations can be achieved.
