In June 2017, Sunyield Technologies participated in the group session of CCSA TC5WG11 meeting, proposed three issues regarding the development trend of wireless communication in the 5G era, and delivered lectures on “Introduction to planar near-field and millimeter wave application by Sunyield Technologies “, “Application of Miniaturized Compact Range in the 5G Communication Era”, and “Vehicle wireless measurement data sharing”, which have attracted great attention and heated discussion among industry experts.
With development of the new generation mobile networks, faster transmission rate, higher modulation bandwidth, and wider spectrum occupancy has become the new hot spots for next generation of mobile communication network. With the 5G commercial application approaching, millimeter wave will also be more widely used. The application of planar near field in the millimeter-wave antenna test has raised wide attention at this meeting.
In view of the rapid development of vehicle networking technology, Sunyield Technologies has adopted the near spherical field measurement technology of its area of expertise, introduced the vehicle antenna test solution in time, and applied them into commercial use. During the meeting, Sunyield introduced the application scenarios and provided a large amount of authentic measurement data, which caused enthusiastic discussion among participating technicians, especially experts from automotive engineering institutes.
The commercial compact range measurement systems independently developed by Sunyield Technologies with completely independent intellectual property rights are of great significance for the promotion of domestic commercial application of compact range measurement technology from the perspective of cost and system optimization. As for commercial application of the 5G technology in the future, Sunyield will also strive for new breakthroughs to achieve greater success.
